The Animals were an English music group of the 1960s that was part of the British Invasion. Known for their gritty, bluesy sound and deep-voiced frontman Eric Burdon, as exemplified by their signature song "House of the Rising Sun", the band balanced tough, rock-edged pop singles against rhythm and blues-oriented album material.

Animal Tracks is the second British album by The Animals, They were dubbed "animals" because of their wild stage act and the name stuck. This album was released in 1965!!!!!.

The Vinyl

This is the original 1st press HEAVY and thicker type of vinyl only found on 1st pressings later pressings were much more flimsier and less robust!! Also these have deeper grooves! From my experience these originals produce the best audio quality and cannot be surpassed!!!!

On visual inspection this vinyl looks like it has barely ever been played at all.

The Audio Quality

This audio is truly awesome cristal clear and vibrant!!! with no signs of grooveware or that this has been overplayed at all!! One of the best sounding copies that I have heard!, no clicks or pops!! Top MONO example!!  A very very playable and enjoyable vinyl.  Audio graded as near mint throughout on my systems!!!!

The Labels

These feature the first issue Blue\black Columbia labels! Feature ''Sold In The UK....'' text across the labels (only 1st press) Also the K.T. tax code is stamped on side 2. (only 1st uk press)  These labels are superbe barely a handful of spider marks can be seen only! This vinyl has obviously barely been played at all!  There is no wear around the spindle it is perfectly round.

The Record Sleeve.

This is the original Emitex Poly line sleeve. Becoming fragile with age only with light staining creasing with age! This is the original.

The Cover

This is the original Garrod & lofthouse laminated front flipback cover!!! In absolutely awesome condition for 46 years old! super glossy in appearence. . On the whole, Very very hard to find like this after 42 years! There are no splits or tears no edge rubbing !!! the spine is awesome all writing can be clearly seen!!! excellent in my opinion!

GRADINGS

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised, as Sealed or Unplayed will be mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, possibly with light surface marks but there will be very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD + The record may have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only barely detectable crackles or pops. A slight noise at the beginning is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless. Definitely no scratches or gouges that a touch with a dry finger can feel. The cover may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
