TEDDY CHARLES – ON CAMPUS! IVY LEAGUE CONCERT! – BETHLEHEM BCP 6044 – EX/EX – MONO - WITH ZOOT SIMS

Recorded live at Yale University on November 21, 1959, this Bethlehem session features Teddy Charles on vibes, Zoot Sims on tenor, Sam Most on Flute, Jimmy Raney on guitar, Dave McKenna on piano, Bill crow on bass and Ed Shaughnessy on drums. SIDE 1: RIFFTIDE; TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT; THESE FOOLISH THINGS; STRUTTIN’ WITH SOME BARBEQUE and YESTERDAYS. SIDE 2: YALE BLUE; WIFFENPOOF SONG; THAT OLD BLACK MAGIC and NIGERIAN WALK. This is a mono recording.

I have graded both the LP and the record jacket as EX for the following reasons. The LP vinyl surface looks perfect but a closer look shows some very slight surface marks, which do not interfere with play. They are very hard to see. There are a few marks on either side of the spindle hole, but no real sign of wear. The record jacket is in excellent condition with little sign of wear, but it has a small taped seam on the upper right corner and the lower right corner. There is very little discoloration to the liner notes. The cover shows very little wear. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
