the African Market.
I dont know the history of this issue but I guess UK parlophone print a few hundred of copies. for th territories changing the details on the labels.
‘First Pressing’ of this classic masterpiece. Label is Beautiful clean and attractive examples that show hardly any spindle marks at all.. No wear around the hole area. Both clean and fresh looking and clearly little handled with hardly any traces of fingermarks.
Matrix Numbers: XEX 637-1 / XEX 638-1 Stamper This is a complete copy: the labels meet the recognised criteria to be a ‘first pressing’ . The cover is very strong and fresh and has few blemishes only. The record visually is shinny and clean and sounds excellent with very very few light clicks on couple of thin passes.
Cover Grade and Format: Graded as Excellent Plus Plus laminated Flipback SINGLE sleeve not Gatefold.. This has the original PMCJ 7027 MONO cover number. Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. A nice example of what is arguably the most famous cover ever made, this looks terrific. Shows very light wear on the spine, still beautiful and readable, and some light creasing on left bottom corner.
Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: Both Side EXCELENT Plus only some light paper scuffs and a few thin line scratches observed under 120 watt light, that may cause a few clicks on the lightest parts.. A nice visual inspected copy with just some light paper scuffs and couple hairlines per side. Shiny, jet black and very heavily pressed, this record looks really amazing. Sound Excellent at least to my ears (I ve listen it with head phones and I heart only very few very very light clicks per side) has only very few thin line scarthes and very minor papers scuffs per side visible only in very strong light.
