TEAM LOTUS SINGS

This is a rare piece of motor sport memorabilia from the golden days of Formula 1 - a 7" single produced to celebrate Emmerson Fitipaldi's World Championship victory in the JPS Lotus 72.

This is a highly-collectable 45rpm  7-inch vinyl single in a gatefold picture sleeve, and is sung by the 1972 World Championship winning crew from John Player Team Lotus.

Team Lotus Sings was written produced and arranged by a then Team Lotus member Luke Watson and released in 1973 by Speedy Records (Catalogue number SPD 100 L).

The A-side song is called ‘The Champions’ and the B-side is ‘Workin'al'nighter’.

His mechanics may have been the best of their field, but could they sing? The comment here is that they were probably better mechanics than singers!! (You can find it on You-tube!). Buy this and find out!!!!

The condition of the record looks OK with no obvious scratches or marks on either side.  (But please see below).  We haven’t played it.  The sleeve has minor storage wear.

Please note, we cannot guarantee the quality of the recording.  There may be some engrained dust or what have you inside the grooves.  We are not hi-fi experts.  We say this as having experience of selling a record once, only to be criticised that it wasn’t utterly perfect when played on some very sophisticated equipment.

We obtain a Certificate of Posting from the Post Office as proof of posting. The Certificate of Posting covers items up to £46. Recorded Delivery, Special Delivery or other services can be made available although at additional cost.
