Fabulous near mint 3 LP box set “Harry Partch: The Delusion of the Fury” (Columbia M2 30576-stereo).
This hard to find set is on the TAS (The Absolute Sound) list of top audiophile LPs.
The set includes 2 LPs of the first recording of Harry Partch’s “Delusion Of The Fury” (supervised by the composer) with an ensemble of unique instruments conducted by Danlee Mitchell. It also includes a bonus third LP “A Glimpse Into The World of Harry Partch” in which “...the composer introduces and comments on the 27 unique instruments built by him during a lifetime of creating his own musical universe.” (from the liner notes).
Also included is a near mint eight page 12” x 12” full color illustrated booklet showing these instruments.
All three glossy LPs look and play near mint with just some light occasional surface noise. The box shows just some light wear.
