Harry Partch [with Danlee Mitchell and the ensemble] Delusion of the Fury. CBS Masterworks 30576. 2-LP boxed edition; original issue. Doesn’t include the bonus demonstration disc, but it does include the booklet—in perfect condition, as are the interior text panels. Discs are both NM—played a little bit but with no characteristics worth mentioning. Jacket has 2 splotches of organic matter that could likely be dabbed away with care; otherwise very strong—including spine and corners.

Here’s the first of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
