Description
Here is a great release on the RCA Victor label (LD-6065). Ansermet conducts the Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covent Garden in performances of works from Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Sylphides, Giselle, Coppelia, Boutique Fantasque and Carnaval. Double-album boxed release. Includes booklet in excellent condition. These are early shaded dog label pressings. Stampers are 3S/1S/1S/1S. Quite rare and highly sought by audiophiles.
Condition - The outer box looks nice with light signs of wear. Inner box looks OK with a small beginning split on upper back corner.The box grades at VG++. The records have been used and show wear, including several marks and scuffs. Most sides grade at about VG, with side four looking just rougher with a few heavier marks. Side four grades more like VG- by sight. I listened to portions of all sides and they played through mostly better than they looked with some moderate static and other bits of noise here and there. The listening grade for Side Four is VG, and the listening grade is VG to VG+ for the other three sides.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
