VG++ (Record is Super Clean Visually, Pretty Much Near Mint, Plays with absolutely minimal noise, the one exception is the very begining of Track 1 "Find Yourself" which has a little noise in the intro.  There is no visible flaw, scuff mark, or scratch that seems to produce the noise.  Perhaps inherent in the pressing itself. The rest of the record plays close to perfectly. Listen to clips below.)

Labels are extremely Clean and Glossy with barely a hint of wear. NO Marks, Writing, Stickers, etc. Nice clean / tight spindle hole.

Please Note: This is a Promotional / Industry only sampler. It was never Released or intended for the public.  Therefore, there was no cover made for it.  This particular copy was found in a plain white paper sleeve with no cardboard jacket.  I will ship it carefully packed in a generic cardbaord sleeve for protection.

Mega Rare 15 Track Songwriter / Publishing Demo from the legendary and enigmatic Tandyn Almer.   Tandyn was best known for being the principal  writer of the Association's hit "Along Comes Mary" with assistance from Curt Boettcher.  He also had a somewhat mysterious relationship with Brian Wilson, that involved (among other things) co-writing a handful of Beach Boys songs including "Sail On, Sailor".  Despite writing and producing a number of Pop-Psych classics he only released one single under his own name, "The Degeneration Gap" on Warner Bros. Tandyn would later go on to invent the "slave-master" water pipe, sometimes referred to as "the perfect bong". He then seemingly disappeared.

Needless to say, the record offered for auction here is extremely rare, with only a few copies known to be in existence.  Not to mention, it's actually a great record in it's own right. A few of the songs were later performed by other artists, but the vast majority of this set has never been heard in any form. As a result, it has justifiably achieved  mythical status. A true Pop-Psych Grail!  It's pretty safe to say you may never see this for sale again, especially in this condition.

RECORD GRADING

All records conservatively graded under bright light. Condition is guaranteed.

MINT MINUS (M-) Highest grade used.  Record appears to be like new.

VG++ Denotes tiny VISUAL scuff(s) or a small scratch on the disc that

is cosmetic, and cannot be heard.

VG+ Disc has normal wear, a bit more visual abrasions, obviously used, but not abused. Still a nice, well cared for record. Noise is minimal if any.

VG Disc has significant wear, surface marks and light scratches, will play with minimal 'ticks'. (meaning the tick is not jarring or terribly distracting). Surface noise from wear is usually just moderate. Still quite playable and enjoyable.

VG- Disc has even more wear, may or may not play better than the visual grade...Disc has scratches, scuffs, and or abrasions that may "pop" (meaning the scratch is loud or sometimes louder than the music)

G "Good" disc has serious wear, and visual abrasions, scratches, scuffs, etc. Generally, in rough shape, but still plays through without skipping.  Only the rarest of records will be listed in this condition.

Whenever a record plays better than the visual grade, it is noted via both grades (Looks VG, plays VG++)

If two grades are noted (VG/VG-) that means the "A" side grades VG, while the "B" side grades VG-

All other defects, such as cut-out holes (CO), stickers and/or writing on the label (SOL / WOL)and a warp (wrp) are noted as listed here. "NAP" denotes that a described defect (warp, press bump, etc.) does 'not affect play'.

Packages may be sent via regular airmail, or global priority mail (only upon your specific request & this will include additional fees).
