Description

An original 1st press of INNERV on UK Tamla. Note how the perimeter text mentions 'Gramophone' - indicative of 1st issue. Lovely heavy-set vinyl [I would personally insist on this - on this title]. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with white company inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. Nice looking labels! A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with just one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I'm a BIG fan of this title - and would imagine there are a few others out there who are massive fans. So, why would one want to compromise on an out and out great rendition. Lots of low frequency funk tones. High-end transients. This is quite a taxing title from an audio perspective. VERY difficult to find a truly super player. But I am pleased to report that this example is composed and consistently playing well. The very fussy 'Love is Fair' & 'Visions' often exhibit issues...but this example delivers a great rendition with just the odd crackle here and there in. 'Golden Lady' often suffers groove-wear...but not on this example. A touch of presence briefly in one spot thats all i could detect. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) Super difficult to find in top level condition - they nearly always tarnished. This example has avoided the ageing process and all surface wear too. Highly impessive.  The interior looks great - no issues at all. Four pointy corners. Hardly any edge wear. Spine 99% intact with minimalwar. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. AN absolute stunner.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
