Description

An original 1st press of INNERVISIONS on UK Tamla from 1973. Matrix A5/B2. Note the labels mention 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text - a sign of 1st press as EMI dropped this around '73. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. We also have an original generic white inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with near perfect clarity. Quite possibly Stevie at the top of his game - why compromise on audio for this title. This original example can deliver a really clean signal. Playing clean into all the quiet sectors. There are some classic tracks on this title. You need maximum clarity for the LP to absolutely nail it. All I could detect were a few isolated crackles and a couple of minor ticks during 'Love Is Fair'. And even this super fussy track is playing much better than you typically find. Mistra Know-It-All...practically perfect. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) Wow - a totally amazing looking cover and is superbly preserved. Beautifully clean surfaces without signs of wear or ageing [very unusual]. Top quality front and rear. One very slight crease bottom right on the rear. The interior is nigh on perfect. By and large very little edge wear. The only bit I can spot is a one inch patch in the middle of the edge of the front panel [i.e. very little!]. Text all fully legible on the spine with faintest hint of wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Fair bit of ageing. No splits.
