Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas Hurricane - Analog Productions - 6 LP 200G Vinyl Boxset.

Note: Damaged box – 3 lp’s opened 3 unopened

Owned by me from 'new' - but I purchased it with a damaged box (please see the photos) but with all lp’s still sealed.

I have opened and played 3 of the albums a couple of times only ( using a Naim ARO and Dynavector XX-2 on a Linn Sondek) and 3 remain sealed and unplayed. For the past 6 years or more the box set has sat in a rack, so I have decided to offer it for sale, as I need to win back some space.

The albums I have played are however - still in excellent condition ( both vinyl and gatefold lp sleeves)

Opened LP’s – Family Style, Couldn’t Stand The Weather, Texas Flood

Unopened LP’s – Soul To Soul The Sky is Crying, In Step

Each of the albums have been remastered and have deluxe gatefold sleeves with additional photos.

Each vinyl record is 200g and is the USA Analog Productions remastered version

Also included is a 20 page booklet with a narrative and details of each album, plus some really nice photographs of Stevie Ray Vaughan, and a promotional leaflet from Analog Productions

As I mentioned earlier, the box has suffered some damage but I have tried to show this in the photos but I was offered $40(£30) reduction so I was happy as the box is still sound and protects the records. Internally the box is pretty much perfect and still has the ribbon to lift the lp's if you choose to keep them in the box.

If you are a Stevie Ray Vaughan fan and you enjoy vinyl reproductions of his music - this is probably the set you need!

Prices are still high but I've started this listing at a sensibly low price given the 'less than perfect condition' of the box and the fact that 3 lp's have been opened, but it is still a 'sonically' excellent complete box set.

We've gone completely all-out for this project. We've used the original 30 inches-per-second, half-inch analog master tapes for all of these studio albums as well as for the bonus tracks included on the SACDs. Ryan Smith atSterling Sound cut the lacquers for the LPs using the ultimate VMS 80 cutting lathe. Gary Salstrom handled the plating and the vinyl was pressed of course at Quality Record Pressings. Andy Aledort, senior editor for Guitar World,wrote the liners with contributions from Stevie Ray Vaughan biographer Craig Hopkins. This set includes a deluxe booklet. And all of the records are housed in a deluxe box

We've also used the correct original master for Soul To Soul.

Every version of this record since 1999 has been from an incorrect source with the wrong take of the track"Life Without You." We've got it just as the original.

There's not a link in this chain that wasn't absolute first-rate. The absolute best that money can buy.
