Description
Released July 27 1981, Bella Donna announced Stevie Nicks’s solo independence with a platinum bang, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and eventually going 5× platinum. Produced by Jimmy Iovine (w/Tom Petty on two tracks), the record balances Laurel-Canyon balladry (“Leather and Lace”), driving rock (“Edge of Seventeen”) and the Petty duet “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.” This U.S. pressing—catalog MR 38-139, Specialty plant etch—plays VG with light surface hairlines and no skips; the midnight-blue jacket grades G+ for noticeable edge wear, corner dings and a 3 cm split at the top seam (see photos). Lyric inner sleeve is present and intact. A prime player copy for any Fleetwood-Mac completist or early-’80s rock crate.
