Up for auction is a legitimate stereo copy of Introducing The Beatles on Vee Jay.  The front cover has catalog number SR 1062, the back cover has VJLP 1062, and the record label has catalog number VJLPS-1062.  

Using this internet guide... http://www.eskimo.com/~bpentium/beatles/intro/intro.html you can see this is the STEREO COVER VERSION 2....VJ 1062 (2).SC1 cover and the VJ 1062(2).SR2B(ii)a label. 

The matrix is S  63-3402-S on Side 1 and then S  63-3403-S on Side 2.  There is the circled "MR" marking on both sides which indicates the  Monarch Record Mfg. Co., Calif. Pressing Plant, as well as a triangle 6313 on Side 1 and then a triangle 6313X on Side 2. 
Master numbers of Universal Recording Corporation and job numbers of Monarch Records:
VJLPS 1062 Introducing The Beatles (Version Two) – Side 1: master number 63-3402-S, job number 6313; Side 2: master number 63-3403-S, job number 6313X.
Has The letters URJ pressed in the MATRIX/RUNOFF , and this most likely was the initials of the person who Mastered the record.
Comes with the Original White Sleeve, with a Vee-Jay Label Hole...Has some browning issues and looks like it's been folded in one corner since 1964!!
Approximately 1.4 million copies of "Introducing the Beatles" were pressed, but only about 3 percent were in stereo.
Which means only about 42,000 of the originals pressed in Stereo. AND Only several thousand were pressed in this Version.
Makes this copy quite Rare.

I did play the record to make sure it is a true stereo copy and it is, and all other identifying marks point to this being a legitimate stereo original. For instance "Vocals on the right channel, Music on the Left..."   the record sounds great and I really want to give it a VG+ rating since it sounds closer to a VG+ record (plays through without any skips, little surface noise and the occasional pops)but there are scratches and scuffs as well as a name on the color band portion of the label on side 1(see pictures) and I like to grade on the conservative side and thus have gone with a VG overall.  A very enjoyable record to listen to with no major issues that affect the listening experience.  Minimal groove wear/distortion for an album of this age and condition!

The cover is intact but has some visible wear and a name written in the back, upper right and an address label in the top left as seen in the pictures. There is some warping and stains...The spine is intact and legible, except for the SR 10 in SR 1062

DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION GRADES FOR LP'S  and 45'S (FOR 78's SEE  OTHER CONDITION LIST BELOW THIS ONE)
Mint/Sealed – This condition is  only used for records that are still completely sealed. No damage whatsoever will  be  present.
Near Mint / Excellent – A near mint record will look as if it has been  played  but well taken care of. There will be no scratches, scuffs, etc to the record. The  label  should be free of writing, scratches, etc. Obviously, there will be no surface noise  or  skips. A near mint cover will not have creases, ring wear, seam splits, or other  signs  of wear. A record in this condition is exceptional.
Very Good Plus – A very good  plus  record will have some small flaws that will not dramatically affect its  aesthetic  appeal. The record may have light scratches or scuffs. Some extremely minor  surface  noise, particularly between tracks or other quite times, may be permissable.  There  will not be any skips. A very good plus cover may show minor ring wear or  slight  discoloration. A small seam split may be present; however, the cover should  appear  to be in excellent shape at first glance. A neat name written on the label  and/or  cover may be permissible.
Very Good – A very good record  will have more obvious flaws and will definitely appear used. The record may  have  more extensive light scratching or even one or two deeper scratches. A very  good  record will have surface noise and an occasional skip as long as the overall  quality  of the record is not affected. The label may have writing or scratches. A very  good  cover will have tears, seam splits, and/or noticeable ring wear. There may be  writing,  price stickers, etc to the cover.
Good – A good record will have  much more extensive wear. There will be obvious flaws to the record  including  scratches, scuffs, etc. Surface noise and minor skips will be common, although  the  record should still be playable. It is very possible that the label will be damaged  by  writing, scratches or more. A good cover will have obvious seam spits, ring wear,  etc.  Water damage is entirely possible. Records in this condition are usually only  valuable if the record is of exceptional rarity. ------------------------------------------------------------------

E +  - means light to negligible surface noise.
E   - means light  surface  noise, possobly light scuffs
(-a Plus or minus sign, of course  indicate slightly better or worse respecively-)
V  - means medium  surface  noise, scuffs etc- 
G  - means heavy surface  noise, scuffs, etc. .
