Description

Early Trademark of Quality blue colored vinyl copy of “Smashing Amps.” The recording is largely from the Jimi Hendrix Experience farewell show at Royal Albert Hall in 1968, which is pretty damn wonderful. The album is one of the early rubber stamp cover ones—following shortly on the heels of “Liver Than You’ll Ever Be.” It predates the pig logo. The disc has just a blank white label. (Like most surviving copies, someone has written the side numbers on this one.) It has a few light scratches but is otherwise in very good condition, as is the cover. These records were pressed in the same small Los Angeles plant that also pressed the colored vinyl records on the Fantasy label (Lenny Bruce, etc.) in the 1960s.

No reserve. I’ve described the item as best I can, and it is sold as-is, returns or adjustments entirely at my discretion (please refer to my unblemished feedback,). Payment by Paypal (preferred), or by money order or personal check (will hold item until check clears). Contact must be made in 3 days and payment received within ten days. Buyer to pay $6.50 shipping in the lower 48 states, more if you live somewhere interesting. I’ll accept international bids from most countries, but contact me before bidding so I can factor in the extra postage and hassle. Please check out my other auctions. This garage is a trove of mystery.
