Status Quo - Piledriver ( Vertigo swirl label 1972 UK original . 6360 082 ) Astonishing condition both cover and disc......ex record reviewers copy who assures me this has been played ONCE or TWICE only for review purposes then filed away until now !!.....so time machine quality we are talking about .....nicest one I've seen since it was a new release late 1972. White gatefold cover gleams like new, no marks at all !!...beautiful crisp edges. These non laminated Piledriver covers are always grubby and tired looking at this late stage. This beauty hasn't seen the light of day for 40 years !.. Can't be another one like it...iconic Vertigo labels are spotless. No signs of use whatsoever. ( 2 plays max ). So cover and labels : NEAR MINT. Vinyl lies flat and true on the platter. Gorgeous sheen on the playing surfaces . Only very fine sleeve removal traces seen under direct spotlight. Dream audio as well. Dynamic and warm tone just not evident on digital versions. As nice an example of this disc In it's original form as you will find In 2013.
