Up for bid is a very rare mono copy of the Doors' Waiting for the Sun. EKL 4024. The matrix numbers on both sides end in 1A.
The outer jacket is in VG++ condition with very little wear and no seam splits.
The original inner sleeve is nice and crisp and clean, but there are small, two-inch seam splits on the bottom and on one side of the sleeve.
The LP visually grades VG+ but play grades VG++. It has full gloss. It is a bit dusty and there are some fingerprints present. It will need a gentle cleaning. There are a handful of non-feelable scuff-type marks on each side. I did find two very slightly feelable marks. One about an eighth of an inch and one about a quarter of an inch. I play tested both area and heard no pops or clicks as a result of these marks. In fact, background noise was very light altogether, and this is on an album that needs a cleaning.
The labels are also very clean. I could see some spindle marks on side two but couldn't find any on side one. It's possible that the original owner never played the second side of this album.
Shipping
I ship in sturdy cardboard mailers and use plenty of packing material. LPs are placed in plastic sleeves prior to shipping.
For domestic buyers: Shipping is just 4.00 media mail and 8.00 priority mail for the first LP/78. Each additional LP/78 will cost another 50 cents. For this item, I will include insurance for all buyers and will include tracking for domestic buyers.
For International buyers: I ship USPS Priority Mail International. For Canada and Mexico, the cost is 20.00 for the first LP/78 plus 3.00 for each additional LP/78. For everyone else, the cost is 30.00 for the first LP/78 plus 3.00 for each additional LP/78. International buyers are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and fees.
