Description

Studio acetate of a very obscure Soul 45 written by Jewel Akens and autographed by Jewel! The Good Time Four “Boo Boo Dance” / “Three Horse Betters” Pro Studio Acetate. Plays well with a little hiss below the music and occasional crackle like 99% of acetates do. There’s a few scuffs that don’t cause any skips or loud pops. Play tested both sides. (See photos for titles of my YouTube clips of this actual acetate. I can’t upload clips here. YouTube account name is: John Miner) photo of 45 is for reference only not included in this auction.


Both of these songs are written by the Soul singer Jewel Akens and that’s his autograph on the label! It must have been given to a girlfriend of his by the inscription! This came from a Los Angeles estate of someone who was obviously connected to the singer. The other acetate, the test pressings and promo copies came from the same estate.
