Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Sophie B Hawkins – Whaler – RARE Original Vinyl LP album from 1994.
No buy it now's or offers accepted. Auction only.
Vinyl Condition: G (Record has some light surface scuff marks and a number of light sleeve lines but is in decent condition and plays really well with very nice playback. Some very light crackle but no sticks or jumps. Great album and a pleasure to listen to).
Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (Inner picture sleeve has a large split to the bottom. It is split nearly the whole way along. This has been taped up at some point to strengthen it. There is also an approx 5-6cm split to the left seam and right seam. Shame about the splits but the sleeve is otherwise very nice and is complete).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Sleeve is showing wear to the edges and corners. There is edge and corner wear & creasing and the odd slight corner bend but overall pretty good for its age).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.
Cheers and happy bidding.
