For this auction I am selling a number of progressive/heavy rock records that have been so well preserved down the years and many of them hardly played.  I am moving house soon so want to 'shift' a lot of my stock quickly so unfortunately do not have the time to describe each track in detail as I generally do.  However, I will still play every track in full so as to provide a 'complete' grading.

This first USA pressing plays with impeccable quality with no interference on either side.  I cannot praise the audio highly enough it is that good!  The clarity, depth and power is outstanding and it is obvious the vinyl has hardly been played judging by the sonic quality and that there is no spindle wear.

The desktop cover is in excellent condition with only a little wear and the 'panties' are in superb condition!

Visual grading

The vinyl is in lovely condition with a very impressive glossy sheen and there are no marks or scratches and only a couple of very faint hairlines.  The final track on S2 has what looks like a little hairline marking around some of the first few grooves but this hardly deserves a mention as it is so faint and has no affect on the Mint audio.  The labels are also super clean with no spindle wear.

Play Grading

S1 plays with stunning power and depth with no clicks or pops - no interference at all basically.  The classic 'School's Out' is 'as new' and even the quiet bass intro on 'Gutter Cats vs the Jets' plays beautifully with only a couple of insignificant dust ticks.  The clarity of sound across the entire side cannot be faulted and the final track 'Blue Turk' does not even have any inner groove distortion.

The opening track 'My Stars' is absolutely stunning!  There is no interference, not even a dust tick, and the remaining tracks are up to the task also.  They all play with great power and resonance and there is nothing that detracts from the stunning sonic quality.  The quiet spoken/instrumental end section of 'Alma Mater' is crystal clear - again not even a single dust tick!

The Cover & Inner Sleeve

The fold open desktop cover is in excellent condition with only a little wear.  There is minimal rubbing on the edges and a little corner wear on the spine but not an excessive amount.  The 'attachments' on the fold out section of the back cover have some light creasing/rubbing but there are no actual splits.  The front and back cover are very clean with no marking and the 'inside' section is superb.  The vinyl is contained within the original PVC sleeve which has no splits and just some of the usual creasing.  The infamous panties are then wrapped around the vinyl and I am pleased to say they are in perfect condition!

This record has been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
