Sonny Rollins Vol.2 Blue Note 1558 47 West 63rd Street NYC NO R or INC on label RVG and EAR syamped in the dead wax both sides original pressing LP from 1958 with Thelonious Monk, Art Blakey, JJ Johnson ans Paul Chambers. LP at best is VG- and has numerous light surface usage marks from prior usage three can be slightly felt and may cause some light tics or even an occasional skip when the needle passes over them. LP is being played as I write this and has light noise in the background in spots not major but noticable and may skip occasionally. This is the original issue of this LP so it is worth something but not an investment quality piece and is sold AS IS. If you want to listen to the music you certainly can asit does play and as I said earlier has surface noise in spots, the occasional skip due to the marks and it is not overwheming especially with Art Blakey's drums and Sonny's sax but you can hear it. Side 2 plays better than Side one. Two marks can be felt and may cause an occasional pop. Sold as is and I have no problems keeping this is no one wants it.
