Side 1—WAY UP IN GLORYLAND COOL CHILLY WATERS DIG A LITTLE DEEPER IN GOD'S LOVE IN THAT HOUR REUNION IN HEAVEN SILVER AND GOLD HAVE I NONE Side 2—BECAUSE OF HIM ME AND MY LORD EVERYWHERE HE WENT WILL THE CIRCLE BE TOGETHER CHILD OF THE KING WE'LL TOUR THE GOLDEN CITY THE TREBLE-AIRES of Atlanta, Ga., proudly present their first long play album. Here are the songs most requested by the folks who come to hear The Treble-Aires sing—at church revivals, concerts, and especially, as Toy puts it, at "all day singings and dinner on the ground." The group consists of Toy Caldwell, Pauline Phillips, Leon Carson and Ida Fuqua. They have been singing together for the past two years, and prior to this album they released two 45 PPM records on the Ponders label. The songs were "Til Be There", "Lay Your Burdens At His Feet", "The Mail Order Song" and "Somewhere." These records sold well, and this long play album is for you folks who have asked to hear more of The Treble-Aires on record. Before joining together as a team the members of this group sang with other groups; especially Pauline Phillips, who has prac- tically made gospel singing her life's work. Pauline lives her faith in everyday life just as you see her in front of a congregation. The Treble-Aires present this recording in the hope that it will be a real blessing to everyone who hears it, and may in some way help someone to see the need of Christ in his or her own life. A WORD FROM LEE ROY ABERNATHY THE TREBLE-AIRES recorded their first record in 1958 in my home at Canton, Ga., and I had the pleasure of meeting all of them personally. They are far above the average singers, spiritually speaking. The feeling projects into the listener— even on record. After the recording session I talked with TOY CALDWELL and told him how much I enjoyed his free style PIANO PLAYING. He thanked me—and later became one of my associates. I feel it was MY privilege to have met such a fine man, and to have him work with me in the selling of pianos. This fine group needs all of us. They have my full support, and I know you friends who purchase this WONDERFUL REC- ORD—made here in the Deep South in the studios of NATIONAL RECORDING CORPORATION—will receive the full benefits of this fine Spiritual group of singers.
