Description
Here we have an original 1st pressing od the Sonny Rollins "Moving Out" Lp (Prestife # 7058)with the deep groove indentation on both sides and the 446 W, 50th St., NYC address on both labels as well. Players are Kenny Dorham on trumpet, Elmo Hope on piano, Percy Heath on bass, Tommy Potter on bass, Thelonious Monk on piano, Arthur Taylor on drums and last but certainly not least the mighty Art Blakey on drums. An all-star line up if there ever was one! Both sides were recorded in different months over 1954. Tracks are: Movin' Out, Swingin' for Bumsy, Silk & Satin, Solid and More Than You Know. The sleeve is a solid VG+, not one tear or seam split to be found, the back shows a slight bit of wear from not being in a protective sleeve, but as you can see, nevertheless in great shape. The vinyl is in VG++ shape, only very minor paper scuffs from taking the record out of the sleeve I imagine, but very few of those at all and retains the original luster! Sounds great. Please check my other auctions for more rare jazz! Thanks for looking! On Jul-03-03 at 13:14:00 PDT, seller added the following information:
