Sonny Red Out of The Blue-Blue Note 4032 mono deep groove 47 West 63rd Street mono original pressing with Sam Jones, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers and Roy Brooks and Jimmy Cobb. This is the first pressing of this LP and alas, it is in VG condition. Please read carefully as this item is sold AS IS and they are no returns as I will describe it accurately at my financial loss. The LP has light surface noise under the music in spots, not completely but on at least 3 of the tunes on either side, very minor but can be heard. The cover is as seen in the photos, has age spotting, edge wear and this item HAS been play graded prior to listing and although it plays well it does has surface noise in spots, has light hair marks but none can be felt. Most obvious reason is that the needles used in the fifties when this item was first sold were diamond needles and they dug into the grooves and ruined some records. This one is decent but not a NM $1000 plus pressing which this one can go for in NM condition. VG condition LP, VG cover with edge wear, spotting and this is not for anyone looking to score a great deal and then try to flip it and try to return it if they are unsuccessful in doing so. This is for music lovers who love vintage pressings and hard to find LP's. It plays decently but has light noise in spots and a few light hair marks on either side and a cover with age spotting and spine and edge wear as seen in the photos above. Again, sold AS IS and no returns. Please do not bid if you are uncomfortable with these restrictions. But for those who love music, thus is for you. Sam Jones, Paul Chambers and Wynton Kelly make an excellent team as you will hear once you win this treat. PayPal preferred. Low price to start to encourage bidding. Good Luck!!
