For sale here is a VERY rare LP.THE DEBUT (especially in this condition) by THE MOVE called "MOVE " and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press REGAL ZONOPHONE label.THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOVE'S RAREST LP's EVER, AND HARDLY EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE... TRY AND GET HOLD OF ANOTHER ONE!..NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN SUPERB CONDITION...(have a look at my photo's) THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK 1968 MONO 1st PRESSING ON THE 1st PRESS REGAL ZONOPHONE  LABEL. 1st PRESS 1/ 1 MATRIXES, AND 1st PRESS FRONT LAMINATED GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE 3 FLIPBACK SLEEVE...THIS LP IS MEGA MEGA RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE RECORD...this is the ORIGINAL REGAL ZONOPHONE UK MONO 1st pressing from 1968 and is in SUPERB condition!..The record is pressed on a slab of THICK black quality vinyl. The Cat no. LRZ.  1002 on the 1st PRESS REGAL ZONOPHONE label...(have a look at my photo's) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing..

Labels are the sensational deep crimson/silver REGAL ZONOPHONE format in excellent+ condition . With the REGAL ZONOPHONE logo above the central holes on both sides of the labels to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity. Has some very minor spindle lines but NO damage of any kind. NO graffiti , NO rips NO tears or stickers and would therefore grade as  excellent + condition.!!!!

Vinyl

Thickly pressed heavy weight  vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic.Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees , There are NO surface marks,NO scratches with NO blemishes at all!!! . Only a few very tiny miniscule faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever!!. A remarkable visual and impossible to locate  in this in this condition! and would therefore grade as excellent+ The vinyl has a beautiful full sheen which would be impossible to find on a record of 41 years old!!!!....

Sleeve

First issue front lamimated Garrod & Lofthouse 3 flipback sleeve is in excellent++ condition !!!..Showing  only some very mild laminate wear lines mainly close to the edge and spine ,with NO sign of ring wear at all!!!.The sleeve has NO rips,NO tears and absolutley NO graffitti whatsoever,and is a pleasure to view.The sleeve is in excellent++ condition and a Fantastic collectors item .The Spine is perfectly straight and clearly legible , all flipbacks are clean and intact!!!.This is a fine example of this sensational REGAL ZONOPHONE classic !!!

Move is the eponymous debut album by The Move, released on the Regal Zonophone label. The only one which was recorded by the group’s initial line-up before bassist Ace Kefford left, it includes both sides of their third and fourth singles ('Flowers In The Rain' and 'Fire Brigade'). The last track, 'Cherry Blossom Clinic', was intended as a single at the end of 1967, and an acetate, with 'Vote For Me' (a song which remained unreleased until 1997), was pressed. Release was cancelled, as the lyrics were about the inmate of a mental home, and in the wake of the controversy which had dogged 'Flowers In The Rain', with its promotional postcard featuring an allegedly libellous drawing of Prime Minister Harold Wilson, it was felt that to risk further allegations of bad taste and scandal would harm their career irreparably.

The remainder of the album consisted of Roy Wood originals, and three cover versions that had featured prominently in their live set. 'Weekend' was an Eddie Cochran song, and 'Hey Grandma' had originally been recorded by US psychedelic band Moby Grape. 'Zing Went The Strings Of My Heart' was an old James F. Hanley standard, with an arrangement copied from The Coasters. It was their only album to chart, reaching No. 15.

It was later reissued on CD with additional tracks in 1998. It was then reissued in a deluxe two disc package in 2007 by Salvo.

MINT (M): Unplayed, pristine condition, often still sealed.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in almost brand new condition with no apparent surface marks, full original vinyl lustre, and no deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items are in near perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and/or packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record obviously has been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and/or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably, perhaps with some distortion and/or scratches. The cover and/or contents may suffer from folding, scuffing, spine-splits, major discolouration, etc.
