CHARACTERISTICS OF DISK or COVER: (1) original jacket design used; Mino Ceretti painting front cover and rear cover with Nat Hentoff notes and Clark picture , (2) Orange Overseas Records label used, (3) Disk weight app. 130g, (4) cardboard cover weight app. 120g, (5) Japanese critic commentary paper sheet with picture record catalog on the rear side is attached, (6) Obi missing

DISK CONDITION: VG+?VG++ (still lustrous vinyl with some spindle hole marks on both labels; no serious conspicuous marks or scratches observed, but light bulb allows you to observe dotted faint hairlines on music starting and trailing-off parts on both sides; but the disk,  on the whole, is in nice shape with only minimal background noise plus a few tiny ticks on B3 and of course no skip )

COVER CONDITION: VG+ ( faintly discolored front side and the rear cover with a few small stains; mini stains dotted back cover; somewhat dented and worn four corners; mini crinkles or some abrasions on spine and seams,; but totally still in nice shape for appreciating)

JAPANESE CRITIC COMMENTARY SHEET CONDITION: VG+ ( somewhat crinkly ; seven mini circles drawn for checking record catalog on the rear side; but totally still in nice shape)

ANTI STATIC PLASTIC INNER SLEEVE CONDITION: VG+ (somewhat crinkly)

ADDITIONAL NOTES: well known hard bop piano LP and must-have jazz LP in which there are collected Sonny Clark’s melodious or bluesy compositions, most of which has often been played also by other musicians, such as Claude Williamson or John Zorn. I have preferred this Time label LP to Blue Note’s counterpart (BLP 1579; Sonny Clark Trio). This LP allows you to enjoy the interplay music by Clark, Roach, Duvivier with a very nice sound mastering quality; or excellent stereo sound with a very nice sound separation of piano, bass and drum. Recommended to piano jazz fans!!
