Description
[iv'e added some better pictures to try to show this as it really is]This Is Elvis's 2nd issued single U.K. release from 1956 on 7" 45 rpm. Apparantly this single was valued in Year 2000's RECORD COLLECTER AT £300 +[ THOSE VALUES ARE SET IN1998 . I BELIEVE] Very Minimal amount pressed. Issued when 78's ruled.{You won't find one, at a record shop, most haven't even seen one of these B .S.S singles in the last 20 years! Ask for one at a shop and they'll laugh, I know because i've been there]] -Elvis presley U.K. issue 1956 7" HMV purple and gold 7" single cat no, [ HMV 7M 405 ] This HMV has the Early 7M code instead of the much more common, Singles on Gold/ Purple labels With HMV POP Catalogue numbers, Like Hound Dog, Also from 1956. [Which is Quite common, in comparrison with this single.] , and subsequent releases onwards. These Rare early Cat no's were only used on the first 2 EVER issued singles, by Elvis in the U.K. [The other being His first U.K. Release," Heartbreak Hotel"] Because he hit so big and so quickly, RCA victor hadn't sorted Out contractual problems within the U.K.for his record releases,So he was rushed onto HMV'S label with these And thus given these rare & unusual Catalogue No's For his first 2 U.K. releases. Records Tracks of this 7"are:Side 1, BLUE SUEDE SHOES [Carl Perkins Credits] Side 2, TUTTI FRUTTI . Sold in Gt britain under H.M.V. This single is mega rare and is near impossible to obtain anywhere, Condition although the vinyl has had a lot of play it is still in Exellent playable condition , it has various light if you could call them scratches, surface Marks, scuffs and surface wear it doesn't Click, skip or jump,And it has no nasty deep scratches, scars, Dents or gauges and lies dead flat on my turntable. The sound is still loud, fresh Energetic, and raw Presley.I Don't Think These Songs are on Elvis's HMV U.K. Rock N' Roll Lp Although they were completed at the same Sessions. The Labels although a little age faded can still be read easily side 1 label is v/g+ side 2 label all the gold print is very readable and the label would be graded the same as side1 allbeit for two small label tears low down on the outer edge of the label that have been coloured in purple . doesn't affect song or artist credits. Not bad vinyl, for a record thats 48 years young. Note! This is much much rarer than the red please please me by the beatles, Search EBay and see if you can find another. Ive started at a sensible reserve for this disc, because of its rareity. Sorry about the poor pictures its my camera playing up,not the item listed. Please take a look at my other rare singles for sale, I don't charge bidders any extra for using paypal Good Luck
