Sonic Youth: Daydream Nation, Vinyl x 2, SST, 1988
Daydream Nation is the fifth studio album by American alternative rock band Sonic Youth, released on October 18, 1988. The band recorded the album at Greene St. Recording in New York City, and it was released by Blast First in the UK as a double album.
This was the first full articulation that the underground music of the Reagan era — hardcore punk, high-art avant garde, quirky college rock, DIY, weirdo regional scenes — was converging into a new, exciting Alternative Nation.
Daydream Nation undoubtedly remains the band’s finest moment – a sonic rendering of teenage passion that demanded attention from its elders and set the blueprint for years to come. And for all its grand cultural and critical achievements, the fundamental concept at its core remains timelessly simple: rock n’ roll is pure sensory exhilaration.
This is the original Blast First UK release from 1988. Where it was signed by all the band, when brought at the old Rough Trade shop in Covent Garden. The majority of the signatures are illegible apart from Lee Ranaldo's "hell hounds + Blake". Maybe Thurston's sun face and someone else's "hit me"?

It has been kept in storage in a smoke free household. It is from a large and varied record collection, not a DJ collection. This record has never been DJed and is in good condition.
On side 1, in the preamble to track 1 'Teenage Riot', the bit where Kim Gordon repeats "we will fall", there are a few crackles and a pop / jump. There are a few crackles at the start of 'Cross the Breeze', track 1, side 2. Then between track 2, side 4 'The Wonder' and track 3 'Hyperstation' of Trilogy, there is a pop.
Back in the day, this piece of vinyl was played alot. It was and is still is loved.
