Description

 

I specialize in lost, atmospheric, and hypnotic 45s. Grading is done conservatively, visually. Check unaltered sound clips. I currently have a number of cool soul, popcorn, Latin, rockabilly, garage, R&B, country, surf, blues, funk, psychedelic, sunshine pop, mod, lounge, exotica, heavy rock, gospel, swamp pop, Tejano, townie rock, song poem, punk, and oddball instrumental 45 obscurities up for grabs. In addition to a small batch of Greek 45s, I've also listed some really fantastic and scarce garage band 45s from Texas this week.

CONDITION: Strong VG- (Excellent player, glossy vinyl with faint scuffs and scratches.)

Northern soul anthem. The soaring, ringing groove here really sounds amazing loud. Flip "How Do You Tell An Angel" owes more to Spector-ian girl group session pop, though it's also excellent by any measure. Los Angeles, 1966. Note: I have a feeling this is the early '70s reissue, but I really don't know. (Matrix info: 67091 - 1A R-550 / 67093 - 1A R-551)
