THE VINYL   EX

Just one example from this staggering collection I'm offering..

This vinyl shows  faint spider lines around the centre hole

No wear to the hole at all

The vinyl IS SUPER GLOSSY AND BRIGHT  with just a couple of TINY FEINT  wispy hairline traces  - it is quite amazing how this record has been preserved like this since it was pressed!

The LP has NO REAL static I could hear and nothing else in play of any note anywhere at all.  NO POPS STICKS OR JUMPS

IT PLAYS SUPERB THROUGHOUT!!! AND A WONDERFUL LISTEN

OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THIS HIGHLY PRIZED LP.

Of course there are no marks just a couple of ultra light faint hairlines . please look at all pictures provided.

THE SLEEVE

Red lettering on the spine without any discoloration or fading. Printer credits   - E.J.DAY

AS YOU CAN SEE THIS IS THE 1ST ISSUE SLEEVE -... WITH THE  TEXTURED  FINISH

LITTLE SIGN OF HANDLING AND THERE'S NO RUB OF ANY NOTE AT ALL

THE SLEEVE IS IN SUPERB SHAPE- NO DULLING ANYWHERE- NO GRUBBY MARKS ANYWHERE AND NO CREASES

NO RINGWEAR

THE OPEN EDGE IS RAZOR SHARP WITH NO FEATHERING .

THE SPINE IS CLEAN WITH NO RUB OR SQUASH OF ANY NOTE, NO SPIDER LINES

BOTH PANELS ARE SUPERB WITH NO RING PRESS

THE GATEFOLD OPENING IS IMMACULATE LIKE NEW

THE EDGES ON TOP AND BOTTOM RETAIN THEIR COLOURS WITH BARELY ANY EVIDENCE OF STORAGE AS IT WAS ALWAYS KEPT IN A POLY OUTER SLEEVE..

VINYL:

EX: I can only say this is in great condition, plays with no distortion, no jumps, few plays only evidenced by a few spindle traces only. Otherwise the vinyl looks just pristine. Just a couple of faint hairlines under a bright light. Please few all pictures for a true impression of this beautiful classic. I have played it on my Linn Sondek Arcam set up and it sounded gorgeous with the fullest possible audio as only a true first press ever can with barely any crackle at all.

GATEFOLD SLEEVE :

EX++ : UK 1st Press non-laminated gate-fold cover. With B&C 37 Soho Square, London, W1. credit on the inside cover at the bottom is Printed E.J. Day.  Rarely seen, fully textured with all the red print on the spine in full lustre, no fading or colour loss. Barely any evidence of storage, this is as good as it gets for this album. Very crisp opening.

The Red "FOXTROT" spine only on the earliest jacket, perfectly readable spine and not any fading.

LABELS:

Clean, No Writing, light spindle traces, no damage.

GRADING SYSTEM: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.  EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.  VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

PAYMENT:

Items must be paid for within two days.
