Year: 1971 UK 1ST ISSUECondition: Cover is EX, Vinyl is EX+.
On offer is a excellent and highly sought after 1st (and only) UK pressing of Slim Harpo's 'Trigger Finger', released in the UK in 1971 as part of the Post-War Masters series on the Blue Horizon label. This is one of the toughest releases to find on the label and is also one of the best! It comes from our own blues collection and has been rarely played, treasured and well cared for.
The vinyl is graded Excellent+ and is very clean and shiny, played a couple of times only.
The thin matt sleeve is graded Excellent- or better considering the fragile nature of its construction, it is bright and clean with some signs of light handling. The reverse is clean and very nice. The thin black spine does have some wear in the middle showing some whitening/ink loss through the text and at the top and bottom corners, it is not bad and in no way uncommon for this particular series of releases, all told it is still an excellent example, no rips, splits or creasing. Blue on White Mono Labels are Excellent and clean.
Plain original dated poly-lined inner sleeve is Excellent with some light ageing.
