On offer, Simon & Garfunkel's 1968 masterpiece 'Bookends' ( KCS 9529) .....
For all those fans and audiophiles who have been looking for that perfect copy and are tired of "waiting" for it to appear on eBay....here it is.
This is among the first copies that appeared in record stores in the U.S. upon release in April of 1968. It is also important to note that due to a change in packaging/marketing by Columbia Records, copies which appeared with the translucent sticker indicating the album's name and inclusion of a poster etc. came AFTER the ones without. So there is no doubt that the copy offered here is among the very first to be released.
The playback from this 1st pressing completely blew me away.....Detailed, balanced, and distortion-free......the best example of this Lp I've ever come across. Many would regard this as final upgrade copy.
Condition of Lp Jacket, Original Inner, Poster, and Record: Near Mint.......Superb example.
Vinyl has substantial weight and is inflexible.
