Description

You are bidding on the second copy of a mono BOOKENDS that I've had the luck to find and sell on eBay.
Disc and Cover are in VG condition per eBay's definitions.
Some surface noise (especially audible in quieter sections), and occasional pops, but I've played the whole thing to confirm there are no skips, and the whole album sounds quite good, the music is never overpowered by this older copy's limitations.
Noticeable shelf and ring wear on the cover as well as writing on the front and back covers. Initial 'J' in red on upper left corner of front and a name written in ballpoint pen in upper right corner of front. Name written in ballpoint on upper right of back as well guitar tabs written into the lyrics of 'Mrs. Robinson.' Also a single letter (possibly 'J') written on one of the disc's labels. Take a closer look at the photos to get a sense of the writing.
No original poster and no original inner sleeve. Does ship with new white sleeve and will ship freshly (carefully) cleaned in a proper cardboard LP mailer.
Ships media mail in the US for $4. Please contact me with any questions about the options of expedited or international shipping, and please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions whatsoever!
You can check out eBay's standards for grading below:   "Very Good (VG)
Generally worth 25 percent of Near Mint value. Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.  Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.  Goldmine price guides with more than one price will list Very Good as the lowest price. This, not the Near Mint price, should be your guide when determining how much a record is worth, as that is the price a dealer will normally pay you for a Near Mint record."
