Description
Prestige Bluesville 1035, "Trouble n' Blues" with Sidney Maiden, vocals and harmonica; K.C. Douglas, guitar; from 1962. Original DG vinyl plays at VG+. The vinyl is glossy and plays partly at NM, but much of the LP has light static and there are a few light pops in places - nothing too serious. The jacket is also VG+ with some wear at opening on upper and lower seams, minor color loss on the remainder of the seams, and a couple of inches of cracking on the upper seam at left. There is a hint of ringwear onthe front (see scan).Jacket back is mostly clean with minor discoloration at top; there are no writing and no stamps. Songs are "Buy Me an Airplane", "Sweet Little Woman", "My Black Mama", "Sidney's Fox Chase", "San Quentin Blues", "Tell Me, Somebody", "Blues n. Trouble", "Hand Me Down Baby", "Sidney's Worried Life Blues", "Me and My Chauffeur", "Coal Black Mare", and "I'm Goin' Back Home". Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail for $11.75 extra is strongly recommended. (Last year, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than three LPs will be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.
