This rare example of Andy Warhol's early-career art is in very good condition, perhaps excellent based on its age and on comparisons with other copies that I've seen. The cover is quite nice showing only light general wear with strong seams and with no spotting, tape or other such wear. The record itself is also very nice with a few light scuffs/scratches, but nothing that looks serious -- I would give it an 8 or a 9 on a scale of 1-10 for a record of this age. I cannot test this record and I'm grading it visually -- it looks nice, but I have no idea how it will actually play. The last two digits in the line of letters/numbers stamped into the deadwax on each side of this record are "1S", so I assume that this is the first pressing of this record, and I believe that the year would be 1953 or 1954. I purchased this record at a recent estate sale in Grand Rapids, Michigan, from a clean, smoke-free and pet-free home.
