Description

This is a 1971 LP from female vocalist Shelagh McDonald of Britain. It was released on the B&C label (# CAS 1043). It was part of the popular British Folk-Rock movement of the time and in fact features guitarist Richard Thompson of Fairport Convention among the backing musicians (he did a lot of studio work).

Cover has a few problems - some ring wear front and back and various degrees of creasing at all four corners. Also a bit of edge wear.  The vinyl is actually in better shape. I just play graded it at M- to VG+. There is the occasional snap here and there, and some tracks play a little bit better than others, but the difference is slight. Overall sound is quite satisfactory and vinyl has a clean look to it. Comes with original starry inner sleeve which is only slightly split on the bottom, and I will ship the record in a seperate sleeve to avoid any further seam splitting. Sleeve has "September 71" written at the top. Spindle tracks can be seen on labels, but they are otherwise quite nice. Back cover indicates "Printed and made by the E.J. Day Group London & Bedford".  They did a lot of these UK sleeves back then (Nick Drake, Genesis, etc.).

Sorry about poor photo quality, my little 1.0 MP camera is an underperformer.

If international shipping rate is substantially less than the $15.00 indicated, I will refund the difference.
