Description

An original copy of the New York Daily News from Saturday, February 3rd, 1979 (the morning after Sids death). With the Headline: SID VICIOUS DIES FROM OVERDOSE.  Includes half page story inside + pics. This edition also covers the funeral of 'Rockefeller'. An interesting and historic piece of Punk history here.  Newspaper is in excellent condition, slightly discoloured through age.  Also included is a signed Warners promo photo of Sid. This is a genuine signature, not a reprint and was purchased together with the newspaper by myself back in 1981 from a long established, reputable dealer in Record Collector.  Out of my own personal collection.  A genuine piece of Punk History in excellent condition!
