SD 9049, original 1971 US first issue Cotillion stereo record labels.

A US 1971 first issue album in original condition, featuring:

1. the original ‘gate fold’ sleeve is made of the period quality thick heavy card,

2. comes with its original 'Cotillion’ colour advertising inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE OUTER COVER: is in excellent+ condition. The spine is in excellent++ condition and has remained clean white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. When the original ‘gate fold’ sleeve is opened it is super clean. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is a small 10mm ‘notch’ to the top edge, near to the spine, this appears to be a feature of the US manufacturing process.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original period US ‘Cotillion’ colour advertising inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained clean and unworn. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve. There is a slight split to one side edge at the centre and a slight split to the bottom edge at the centre.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in excellent++ condition. The record is made of the period quality 1970s 'thick heavy' vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The records ‘hand etched’ matrix is: ST CTN 712355 A and ST CTN 712356 A,

Also on side one, are the letters ‘AT RP’ and a possible date of, ‘D 10 5 71’ are ‘hand etched’ onto the ‘run off’ groove. Also on side two, are the letters, ‘AT RP’ and a possible date of, ‘D 10 5 71’ that are ‘hand etched onto the ‘run off’ groove.

The records 'mother / stampers' are: ?.

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent++, each side plays with excellent quiet grooves. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a loud powerful, clear period ‘stereo’ sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in MINT condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

MY GRADING OF THE RECORD AND SLEEVES IS BASED UPON THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

Postage and packing.

All records posted to a UK address will be sent 1st class and to be signed for on delivery.

Packing - all records are posted with multi layered card stiffeners for protection. Before posting, the record is removed from the records original inner and outer sleeves, the record is then put into a second inner sleeve to minimise any damage that may occur while in transit.

The record / sleeves are then put into a plastic sleeve for further protection.

Discount will be given on postage for multiple purchases.

In the UK – there maybe an additional cost for insurance as the seller has no protection if the item goes missing in the post, therefore post and packing charges may vary.
