Description
Offering at auction a vintage Japanese release Elvis Presley 45 rpm record.
This record has some visible wear and light scratches but plays well with no skips or sticks. It does have some noise, but nothing terrible at all. Just sounds like an older vintage quality recording, which it is.
The songs are: side JEP-763, Blue Moon of Kentucky and Shake, Rattle, and Roll. Side JEP-764 has Good Rockin' Tonight and I don't Care if the Sun don't Shine.
The side with Blue Moon of Kentucky has the following numbers and symbols in the run off area: "JEP 763" and there is what looks like a 1 with a dash under it and over it, or this could be an "I" that has spaces between the lines. This side also has a "2" in a circle, a "P", and a "5" with a star symbol over it. The other side has "JEP 764" with the same symbols and such in the same places.
The other info on the record label should be pretty much readable in the pictures I posted, but please let me know if you need additional info.
The cover is plastic wrapped inside and out and has Japanese characters at the top on back that I cannot interpret. Back also has the record number, "EP-1206" and "Victor Company of Japan, LTD." along the bottom. Back cover also features the lyrics to the songs written in english. The top edge of the plastic overwrap has the following info impressed in the plastic "Victor Record (45RPM) patent jacket"
I have seen some of these records on the internet with the center hole having a built in tri-legged adapter for playing the record on a regular player without an adapter. This one has had that feature punched out. Please ask any questions you may have.
