Description
Extremely rare original UK Girl pop/Beat pop demo/promo direct cut metal acetate for the iconic English female singer Sandie Shaw. Sigle sided acetate from 1966 for the Chris Andrews penned minor hit 'Run'. Really rare as likely only up to 5 acetate demo versions might have been cut at the studio and few have survived - most destroyed or trashed due to significant play at the time and the fact that acetates are very fragile and wear away down to the metal base if played a lot. The metal based acetate is not chipped or broken but has been well played and handled and shows a number of scuffs and scratches but as it is a direct cut from the master the sound is extremely good quality given the visual condition. It plays near excellent with very limited surface noise. Some slight dirt to white hand annotated labels. Cover original PYE - VG++ a bit of creasing.
