OK, BACK TO SOME GOOD 45s OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR A WEEK OR TWO - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1962 U.S. Titan Records white label DJ 45 RPM record containing the surf instrumental tunes titled 'the Ghost Hop'/'Paradise Cove' from the Surfmen. It is Titan Records catalog number FF-1723, and is a GUARANTEED 1962 ORIGINAL, NOT A 'REPRO' REPRODUCTION AND NOT A 1970s ERA 'COLLECTORS PRESSING'!! This is a white label promo DJ copy with an inscription to that effect on the labels, which also bear one additional inscription to that effect which does not appear in my accompanying image. 'The Ghost Hop' is a nasty sounding uptempo surf instrumental with guitar lead; 'Paradise Cove' is an instrumental ballad. 'The Ghost Hop' is available for your listening pleasure on YouTube. Condition of record is conservatively a low to mid VG+ with a moderate to fair amount of light surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Record plays through nicely with some light surface noise. B-side label has an 'X' in black marker, both labels have a moderate amount of contact wear as can be seen in my accompanying image. This great and rare 45 would make a choice addition to any surf or rock-n-roll record collection!
