Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. BEAUTIFUL ...crisp & minty clean 1972 original in gatefold cover. The cover contains a custom "After Shave" sticker that was not found on other or most all copies...

Incidentally, original copies in mint condition likke this have become highly sought after and subsequently as a result valued at high end three figure sums. To goive an accurate example of value, currently NO copies on eBay, Discogs has two available, both at over $700.

Formed in 1968 in Switzerland, the bands longevity lasted 6 years until they broke up in 1975. But not before they released two albums. One of their first gigs in '68 saw them at a rock festival organized by a Zurich magazine. They were criticized with no glory by the media: "the group might be good if the guitarist did not use so much distortion." (we like reviews like that) Never the less the group carried on playing blues rock a-la Cream, Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Mayall's Bluesbreakers. in 1972 AFTER SHAVE got rather big contract, releasing "Skin Deep" ... Main ingredients being raw, heavy, bluesy rock with screaming electric guitar (using that dirty distortion !), pounding bass and no keys being the prime drivers. The hard-rock moves are mixed with progressive rock moves. This trio would appeal to Krautrock fans as well as fans of early 70's power trios.

After Shave were influenced by Cream, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and the usual suspects. They toured Europe in the early 70s and eventually recorded this debut album for the Splendid label in 1972, which now commands big dollars on the rare record collector market. The album is very rare, highly sought, a powerful force with killer tracks. After Shave stands up tall along side fellow country men "TOAD" and "PACIFIC SOUND" ... and like those bands, After Shave were very tight and had a very heavy edge to them ... prime underground glories filled with melodic substance in their heavy edged format.
