Records: The Blues Years 1950-1956 BOX SET ORIGINAL RECORDING - SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION..9 RECORDS - ALL MINT CONDITION ...WITH BOOK INCLUDED ...VERY RARE TO FIND!!!! YOU WON'T FIND THIS ON THE INTERNET, VERY, VERY RARE!

This box set contains 9 individually sleeved LP's containing 151 recordings. Each LP sleeve bears a track by track anaylsis of the recordings.  There is an LP sized booklet containing interviews with Sam Phillips and many of the musicians and singers who recorded for him; a complete session discography; a chronological account of the blues years; features on blues, R&B and gospel style in Memphis; and a wealth of photographs and other illustrations.   

This box set has most of the major blues classics of the late 1940's and 1950's; Including BB King, Howlin' Wolf, Sleepy John Estes, Houston Stokes, Little Juniors Blue Flames, Willy Nix, Joe Hill Louis, Little Milton, Billy Love, Rosco Gordon and many, many others! 

MINT CONDITION - PLAYED ONE TIME ONLY AS MY FATHER DIGITALLY REMASTERED THE RECORDINGS, THEN SAVED THEM AS PART OF A VERY LARGE COLLECTION.

OUTSIDE BOX SHOWS SOME MILD WEAR FROM YEARS OF MOVING AND STORAGE. VERY MILD SCUFFING ON FRONT AND BOTTOM OF BOX, BUT STILL IN VERY GOOD SHAPE.    RECORDS, SLEEVES, BOOK, ALL IN AMAZING CONDITION!
