SUN RA LP MONORAILS & SATELLITES (El Saturn 519 ESR-9691). Released 1969.
Delectable well-preserved original US pressing from 1969. Sun Ra at the piano playing Monorails & Satellites Volume 2. The very far-out cover art by Rudy Irvin gets weirder still on the back side. Produced by Ihnfinity Inc. & Alton Abraham. Cover & disc both look quite nice. I am convinced this is an early early pressing because I know the original owner, who has been collecting LPs since the 60s. (Matrix #: "9691A/B Infinity Incorparated").
I have a minuscule charge for handling to cover insurance.
COVER - VG+
No seam splits, stains, marks, cuts, tears, smudges, creases, bubbles, water damage, cut-out marks, writing, price tags, tape or stickers on the thick, sturdy cover. Faint ring wear and a small amount of rubbing. Very little corner banging. Rich color throughout cover & label. The label looks great with no marks, tears or scuffs. Sharp-cut hole nearly free of spindle brushings.
DISC - NEAR MINT
We give great importance to grading our items accurately. Visually inspected & graded to be free of scratches, scuffs, stains, skips, warping, streaking, or residue on the disc or dead wax. One quarter-inch hairline fleck on side A, cut one. It's easy to miss. Excellent rainbow sheen on platter surface. Album has been safely stored upright in climate-controlled conditions.
