"SUBLIME" LIMITED PRESSING (200 made) 12" LOUIE DOG VINYL FOR
"DOIN' TIME"
WHICH WAS ONLY RELEASED IN EUROPE, AND ONLY AS A PROMOTIONAL ITEM. BASICALLY, THIS 12" WAS MADE TO PROMOTE SUBLIME'S "SELF TITLED" ALBUM, AND WAS GIVEN OUT TO RADIO STATIONS, LABEL EXECS, ETC. FROM WHAT I HEAR, THE LIMITED PRESS WAS DUE TO THE LACK OF AIRPLAY FOR THE SONG "DOIN' TIME" OVER THERE. WHATEVER!!!
Two killer things about this album is that it is one of 200 made, AND it also features the otherwise "unreleased" remix called: "The Tricked Out Life Sentence Remix" by D.J. Spooky. This mix is only available on this vinyl and on the "Louie Box Set" CD.Lets get in there for a nice little close-up of that back cover...
Let's think about this for a sec...only 200 of these absolutely FLAWLESS vinyl's were ever produced...mainly in EUROPE... What are the odds of seeing this again?
WORSE than finding a GREEN VINYL!!! Thats RIGHT. I said IT!!! There were 100 less made of this PROMO record, than the original Skunk Records Green Vinyl!!! Combine the absolute KILLER RARITY, with the fact that it was released mainly in Europe, and you've got a COLLECTIBLE that will only get SWEETER AND HARDER TO FIND over time!!!
Also, this 12" has six different versions of "Doin Time", and the Louie Dog art on the sleeve and record KILL IT! A few more close-ups of the record itself...
I would consider this record to be in "MINT" condition personally. (Collection wise.) The album came in a thin sleeve with no inner sleeve, so the cover shows normal wear for a 12 year old promotional item. (As always, complete satisfaction is guaranteed or your money will be returned.)
