Here is a superb vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: A hard to find original 1964 pressing of The Beatles' "THE BEATLES STORY" original MONO with black Capitol colorband labels, vinyl looks RARELY played! This double Lp was the band's 4th Capitol album available to the American public! This rare MONO 1st pressing features BLACK LABELS with 1&2 and 3&4 label sequencing. The book value is near $300 and this one is in breathtaking superb condition! These records run like a television documentary and contains a wide selection of excerpts from their many hits along with band interviews and more great fab fun! Released on November 23rd 1964 on Capitol Records TBO 2222 MONO. These records are beautiful! grade NEAR MINT, are super glossy and clean, very near pristine, look rarely played! (side 4 has a couple faint sleeve marks and conservatively MIGHT only grade at EX, Both discs have been PLAY TESTED, play from start to finish with outstanding sound quality, clear and quiet sound, a very enjoyable listen! The Capitol colorband labels are in great shape, one VERY faint & barely noticeable signature in the colorband on both the side one & side three labels. No spindle wear present, these records fit SNUGLY over the spindle like a new record!! WOW! Includes original blue Capitol inner sleeves in EX condition. (bottom center of inner sleeves has unnoticeable neat repair) The gatefold cover rates NEAR MINT, no stains, white is still bright, no marks or writing, no age discoloration, edges and corners are solid, binder edge EX and readable, only flaw is tiny 1/4 inch split at top record opening.
