                                                                  ELVIS PRESLEY - RARE GREEN LABEL DEMO                                          STUCK ON YOU (RCA 1187)
This single-sided, green label RCA UK demo was manufactured by The Decca Record Company in 1960. The standard version (RCA 1187) was Elvis's first post-army single release. 
All of these green label demos have become highly collectable, largely because there were so few of them made (mainly for radio stations, magazines and company sales' personnel) but the single-sided ones are even more in demand.   The main point to remember is this: they were NEVER intended so be sold to the public and, in fact, most record buyers knew nothing about them at the time - all of which makes them genuinely rare and very desirable.  
As they were not the finished article. the label information was kept to minimum (note the time-code 2:17, added at the factory to assist radio stations) someone has, in this instance, penned a large 'A' over the matrix number - which was a bit pointless as there was nothing on the flip-side!  However, otherwise the label is fine and the condition of the vinyl is, I believe Ex-. I cannot comment on how well it plays though as I do not now have a record deck ...
