This is the UK 1st press of 'Dragonfly' by Strawbs. This 1st press is complete with the mustard A&M label, the earliest A1//B1 matrix, the original inner sleeve. The vinyl is the earliest translucent red. It has the original 1st press MacNeill press sleeve and the scarce original lyric insert.
This record is in Near Mint condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with no whitening of the grooves at all, every track looks absolutely superb. On playing the sound is rich, vibrant and extremely clear. There are a couple of moments of the faintest background noise but there is no noise that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point. The label is completely clean. The white is bright, the mustard colour is bold and the black text is sharp. There is NO spindle wear.
The MacNeill press gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The image is extremely sharp and the white has the slightest discolouration but is still exceptionally bright. The colours are vivid and the text is sharp. There is a little insignificant corner wear otherwise the edges are very firm. The whole cover is extremely solid and the earliest pinched spine is firm with clear text.
