Description
Private pressing single featuring 2 canvey island bands from 1981.
Manito - 1st track is poppy punk and on the 2nd track they change over to female vocals, reminds me of the Modettes. Great stuff.
Stax Century - Later became a punk band (check them out on www.southendpunk.com) but these two tracks are reminiscent of early Soft Cell.Very minimalistic synth. Both tracks sound superb.
The record looks as if its been hardly played but you can hear crackle which is down to the pressing rather than being over played.
Never came in a picture sleeve.
Punk/New wave and early synth collectors will not be disappointed with this record. Honestly its a goodun.
