Description
Artist: SONNY CLARK TRIO
Title: “Sonny Clark Trio”
Label: Blue Note. Label is blue/white with blue text with deep groove on both sides. Label address is “BLUE NOTE RECORDS * 47 WEST 63rd * NYC” on both sides. No “r” symbol. The matrix number is hand etched in runout area. “RVG” is machine-stamped, and “ear” symbol is present on both sides in the runout area.
Jacket states “For Complete Catalog Write to BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 47 West 63rd St., New York 23” on reverse at bottom.

Personnel: Sonny Clark – piano; Paul Chambers – bass; “Philly” Joe Jones – drums.
Condition:
DISC: VG to VG- with scuffs and light marks. The listening experience is not great. The fidelity is good, but there are numerous light marks and scuffs that produce audible tics pretty much throughout, enough to dampen the listening enjoyment. This copy must therefore be considered a filler for most collectors.
JACKET: VG to VG- with surface wear, bumped corners, soiling on reverse, and what appears to be a coffee stain at bottom right corner. Front art work is reasonably nice, and seams are fine except at the top right and bottom right corners where splits are starting. Writing on reverse (name of original owner).
