Description
SOA was Henry Rollins' band in Washington D.C. before he joined LA's Black Flag.
Trivia: S.O.A. drummer Ivor Hanson's father was a top admiral in the US Navy, and his family shared living quarters with the vice president of the United States in the United States Naval Observatory. The band held their practices there, and would have to be let in by Secret Service agents. Rollins worked at the Georgetown Häagen-Dazs ice cream store and used the money he earned as assistant manager to help finance the S.O.A. EP.

— No scratches. Surface noise evident upon playing, mostly between songs, and does not overpower the music. Center label slightly faded and scuffed.

— Cover a little scuffed on edges, with a slight sticker mark/discoloration on front, otherwise fine.
Printed lyric insert included.
Notes:
Third pressing of 1,000 copies: Black vinyl, Black Flag bars on Henry's arm, band name on labels below Dischord logo. Track B5 "Gonna Have To Fight" is listed as "Gonna Hafta' Fight" on center label.
Recorded in December 1980 and January 1981.
